Questions about GiKi, the household, or your data. We answer.
Questions people actually ask
GiKi is the in-app assistant. Ask in plain language about meals, shopping, todos, the calendar, the pantry, or spending. It can look things up and propose changes - adding milk, logging an expense, planning Thursday dinner. You confirm in the app before anything is saved. It replies in English, Polish, Ukrainian, or Georgian.
No. Looking things up is instant. Creating, editing, or deleting waits for your confirmation. GiKi cannot change account, security, or household membership settings.
Yes. Download and use the core household tools at no cost. No card, no subscription.
Download GiKi Home from the App Store or Google Play. Sign up with email on any device, Sign in with Apple on iPhone, or Google on iPhone and Android. You can also link Apple or Google later in Settings → Security.
English, Polish, Ukrainian, and Georgian - in the app and for GiKi. Change it in Settings → Language.
Open the app, go to Settings → Household Members, and share your invite code or QR. New members request to join and an admin must approve them. Rotate the invite anytime to retire an old code.
You can have one active household at a time. Leave one from Settings and join another when you're ready.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored in the EU. Sign in with Apple on iPhone, Google on iPhone and Android, or email on any device. Unlock with Face ID or device biometrics, and turn on optional two-factor authentication. We never connect to a bank - money entries are yours. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Meal plans and most of the week are cached on the device. Changes sync when you're back online.
Open a recipe and use Share to create a private link. Anyone with the link can view it on the web and import a copy. They do not get the rest of your household.
When you shop online, move items from the shopping list into a to-order queue so everyone can see what still needs ordering. It stays live with the rest of the household lists.
Yes. Scan a product barcode to look up details when we have them and add the item faster, with fewer typos.
Set repeating income, expenses, or transfers. When they're due, GiKi Home can auto-post them or ask for approval first - your choice. Entries are manual records only; we never connect to your bank.
Yes. In Finances → Settings → Import & export you can download a CSV template, fill your history, and verify the file before anything is saved. Matching account and category names are reused; new ones (and their groups) are created from the file. Export all history or a date range in the same format. We never connect to a bank - this is a spreadsheet you prepare.
Go to Settings → Profile → Delete Account. That permanently removes your personal data. If you are the last member, household data is deleted too.
Email gi.charkviani@gmail.com with what happened, your device, and iOS or Android version. We typically reply within 48 hours.
